Stories of Joining the Company

Hello. I’m OO Lee, and I’ve worked here as a manager for one year.
Now I’m going to tell you the story of how I joined the company.

Learning about New Employees

Hello.
I’m manager OO Lee.
Right now I’m mostly in charge of a variety of national policy projects having to do with smart factory construction.

This work is different from what I studied, so it’s a bit unfamiliar, but I think I’ve adjusted to it better than anyone.
I joined the company through an unlimited-term job posting.
Hiring for KORENS using takes place through a continuous hiring system,
but they also put up separate job postings when large-scale hiring is required.

After submitting your documents there’s an interview and
a health check for joining the company,
and then a final decision is made about hiring.
Before doing the interview, I thought a lot about
what kind of people KORENS is looking for.

After thinking about it a lot, I decided to emphasize
my experience interacting with a lot of different people through my university’s facility student union activities
and my experience helping my professors conduct research.
I connected that to KOREN’S desire for people with responsibility, an ability to get things done, good interpersonal relations, and voluntary leadership, and participated actively in the interview.
I think that’s why I got a good result.
After joining the company, I learned about the excellent worker recognition system, medical expense support, mutual aid support, and various other benefits. The benefit system that I’m using the most now is the support for common interest groups.

Because the company supports a variety of common interest groups, I can interact with employees from other departments while also enjoying my hobby, so it’s a win-win situation.
Not only that, but with job training for new employees and education
inside and outside the company,
there’s a lot of support for education.

In my case, I’m being supported for a Master’s degree course related to my work,
and I expect to graduate in February 2024.
At first this work was unfamiliar, but while studying for my degree
I’ve been able to develop a deeper understanding of my work.
My ultimate goal is to take advantage of the various types of support offered by KORENS
and secure my position as someone who’s really needed!
